Trump Vows More Iran Strikes, Admits More US Troops May Die

Before Saturday’s strikes, Trump and US officials said Iran was developing long-range missiles and nuclear weapons that could threaten America. No proof was shown. Tehran denied it. The US attacked with Israel during ongoing nuclear talks.

On Saturday, US and Israeli forces struck Iran, killing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and senior officials. Trump claimed 48 leaders were eliminated. The US destroyed 9 Iranian naval ships and heavily damaged the IRGC naval headquarters.

Iran retaliated, striking Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, and Oman. The IRGC fired 4 missiles at USS Abraham Lincoln, causing no damage. 3 US troops died in Kuwait. At least 201 were killed in Iran and 9 in Israel.

Iran formed a 3-member interim council: Masoud Pezeshkian, Mohseni-Ejei, and Arafi. Araghchi said military command was disrupted, with units acting on earlier orders. He added Iran sees no limits in defending its people.

Trump told The Atlantic that Iran’s new leaders want talks and he agreed, but said they “waited too long.” The White House confirmed openness to dialogue. He admitted some negotiators were killed. Analysts warned Iran may choose a long conflict.

On Truth Social, Trump vowed to continue the “righteous mission” until all goals are met. He mourned 3 fallen soldiers, warned more may die, demanded regime change, offered amnesty to surrendering IRGC forces, and urged Iranians to rise.
