Singer D4vd Arrested for Murder — Teen’s Dismembered Body Found in His Tesla

On April 5, 2024, 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was last seen in Lake Elsinore, southeast of Los Angeles. She was reported missing from Riverside County — and no one knew where she had disappeared.

On September 8, officers were called to Hollywood Tow after a foul odor was reported from an impounded black Tesla. What they found inside the trunk would crack open one of LA’s most disturbing cases.

Inside a black cadaver bag were a decomposed head and torso. A second bag held dismembered body parts. The remains were identified as Celeste — dead for an extended period inside the abandoned Tesla.

When the discovery broke publicly, D4vd was mid-performance on his Withered World Tour. His spokesperson claimed he was “fully cooperating with authorities.” Days later, he canceled the entire remaining U.S. tour.

Court filings from a grand jury investigation confirmed Burke as the primary target. The medical examiner placed a security hold on cause-of-death details — keeping critical findings sealed from public knowledge entirely.

On April 17, 2026, LAPD arrested D4vd — real name David Anthony Burke, 21 — on suspicion of murder. He is held without bail. The case goes to the Los Angeles County District Attorney on Monday.
